4.Working Principle of Mining Hydrocyclone Sand Separator Machine :

Slurry is introduced under pressure through the tangential or involute entry (depending on feeding way of the inlet head) into the hydrocyclone body. Under centrifugal force, large particles will move downwards along outer swirling flow and be discharged through apex as underflow while fine particles will move upwards through inner swirling flow and be discharged from vortex finder as over flow.
